Hi there again!

Finally I figure out that what was this problem. I tried many solutions from Odin Plesk, Microsoft forums and other solutions. All are not worked for me. I looked my logs from server and found a date which these troubles were begun. And after that, I went to Control Panel and searched for Applications that were installed after that date. I deleted them and my problem is fixed!

It related with "Using port 21". If you have any programs which are using port 21, you must figure out and try to uninstalling/reinstalling.

Hi there!
I got trouble with Services about FTP Server. When I try to restart my dedicated server, everything is okay but ftp server is not working. I used Service Tools but whenever I click FTP server, Plesk Service Monitor is not answering me. I can't understand what is going on with it but this is my first time. I'm using Plesk for 5 years. Sometimes i can face with some problems but they were not critical problems. I have to run my server as soon as possible. I need your helps.

Also I want to ask you that where is the problem? and Why did Plesk saying me "defpackagemng failed"? If Service couldn't accept control messages, what should i do? And is there any solution for resolving ControlService problem?

Try start ftpsvc service manually with

net start ftpsvc

and check output. Most probably that this Microsoft service is broken for some reasons. Try to reinstall it at least http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14045 or ask microsoft support for solution.

Hi Igor, Firstly thanks for answering. I've Microsoft Server 2008 R2 and IIS version is 7.5.xxxx. I downloaded it but I couldn't install. It says me that my os is not supported.

What should I do at this moment? It started to break my time. I have to check whether ftp service is running or not everytime. By the way I couldn't delete some of my files on server. It says me that I do not have any permission for taking control. I can't change the name of some files and folders, can't deleting files etc. It says me always "Access denied." And I figure out that those files which are can't be deleted, were uploading to server and at that time, ethernet connection was lost. They were corrupted, i guess. And I believe that this is all about Ftp service. Almost 1 and half months ago, there was no problem with using ftp services.

Finally I solved! All these problems are related with "using port 21 from different programs". I figure out that when was this problem started and then I looked up control panel. Some programs which are using port 21 are making troubles with FTPSVC. If you have some trouble with ftpsvc.exe, you should find apps which are using port 21.
