  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi,

some clients say me that sometimes they don't recieve one mail or this mail arrives too late.

Can you say me how can I to research mail's life in my server to find problems.

Or Can you say me what's the problem?

Thank you very much

The place to look for problems in Centos/RedHat/Fedora type installations is in /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog

This is the mail log for all incoming and outgoing email.

It is hard to understand what's going on when you look at it at first, but it does make sense once you read it a few times.

Look for errors relating to the IP address of the mailservers for the people who are complaining about delayed email.

It seems odd that emails would get delayed by your server. It seems more likely that they would be delayed by the receiving server.

The ones not delivered at all could be down to your IP being in a blacklist or possibly you have no rDNS for your IP

However, for the ones that don't arrive there should be a bounce message saying why. That should get sent to the original sender.

Faris.
