• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
hi to every one,
my server info:
CPU Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU L5630 @ 2.13GHz Intel64 Family 6 Model 44 Stepping 2 ~2133MHz
Version Plesk Obsidian v18.0.39_build20211015.09 os_Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022
Physical Memory
31.99 GB

sometimes Plesk work very slow and sometimes occur secure socket error,

Initially, our diagnosis was the problem in the SQL Server, which followed the execution query directly ,which was not from the Sql Server.
At some times, the site is operating at high speed, and at some time without a sudden increase of visitors, the site speed decreases dramatically. At the time of speed reduction, the direct code works well on the SQL Server.

How can you diagnosis and fix this problem?

hello @download69 ,

first of all it would be good to understand what part of your server works slow.
I'd recommend to look at the task manager and check what processes utilize lot of CPU/RAM or DiskIO during server's low-performance time.

also there may be some periodic tasks in task manager or scheduled backups at the same time (an extension Scheduled Backups List may help with this)

next steps may be defined based on results above.

also you always may go to the Plesk Technical Support.
