  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Spam settings for individual mailboxes are hard to find in the Plesk Email Security extension

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

Plesk Email Security extension
Version 1.3.4-309

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When you install the Plesk Email Security extension, the "Spam filter" tab is removed. To change the spam settings for an email address, you must click the "Settings" link in the mail account overview. This is an unusual place for these settings. Moreover, "Settings" does not refer to the mail account's spam settings.

Also, on the Spam settings page, the helpful information from the standard Plesk Spam Filter settings is removed or non-standard for a spam filter settings page.
It would help if you used the default layout of the standard Plesk spam settings page instead of this straightforward layout without any suggestions or descriptions of what the functions mean.

At the very least, please change at least these items:

- "Protection enabled" -> "Switch on spam filtering for this email address"
- "Spam score" -> "Spam Filter Sensitivity" + the explanation from the original page on how this works.
- "Spam action" -> "What to do with messages classified as spam"
- "Move" -> remove the Draft and Sent folder to store messages marked as spam. No one will use those folders to store spam messages.

Answer the question

Hi Maarten, yep, I saw you in another thread about this. It's not a bug, but a legitimate request for an improvement. I have brought it to the attention of the right person.

Thanks Peter!

There was no "Request for Improvement", so I choose "Anser the question" ;-)
Maybe it's an idea to add a Request for Improvement option in the Report generator?
