  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Spamassassin Dependency Unresolved

Greg Sims

Basic Pleskian
I'm having trouble with the Qmail service going offline with 8.1.

I ran up2date -u to make sure everything was OK with the software configuration and found the following error:

Unresolvable chain of dependencies:
psa-spamassassin-8.1.0-rhel3.build810611 requires spamassassin >= 3.0.0

I hope getting this dependency resolved will help with the stability of Qmail in general -- at least this is a place to start. Can someone give me a pointer on how to resolve the dependency?

Thanks, Greg

Updating spamassassin with:

up2date spamassassin

brings spamassassin 3.1.0 and the dependency is still not resolved. Is spamassassin compatable with the version of Plesk we're running (see earlier append for the version specifics). If so, who do we get the dependencies updated on the psa side?

Thanks! Greg
