• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

SpamAssassin Doesn't Work

I recently moved from a server with 8.3 to 8.6. Ever since I got on the new server SpamAssassin doesn't work. I have ran the install.bat file located in the spamassassin folder and the perl.exe showed up in the task manager but now it won't come back. It is also turned on via the control panel. I use hMailServer 4.4.1 B273. I have checked and rechecked the passwords and everything is correct.

What do I need to do for spamassassin to work again?

I get over 200-800 spam emails a day in between everyone on my server and nothing is being marked as **SPAM** and the perl.exe does not show up in the task manager like it did on 8.3. I have also ran the install.bat files twice and still nothing for SpamAssassin and it is turned on in the control panel.

Please check Spam Statistics on Server > Mail > Statistics

I am seeing 0% for everything. My Host (JodoHost) has contacted Parallels support but they have not come to a resolution on why spamassassin says it's working but it's not. It has been around 3 wks since my host has submitted the support ticket.

I have ran the install.exe and nmake.exe file several times and nothing still happens once the install.exe file runs.

This is very annoying that the spam filter DOESN'T work!

Serguis, JodoHost handles the support with you guys for me through Support Tickets. I don't have access to the support ticket number. JodoHost had to resubmit the ticket since it magically disappeared over night in the Parallels Help Desk.

Is there a way you can search their tickets and find mine?
 
I need keywords.

I don't know what the keywords would be. I found out I am not allowed to know anything about the ticket because of the Parallels to Provider Confidentially notice.

All I know is JodoHost (APLY INC) submitted the ticket on my behalf and the original ticket that was submitted 4 wks ago can no longer be found in the Parallels Help Desk (even though this issue was never resolved). I believe they are resubmitting the ticket and mentioning this thread in it.
