  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SPF spam protection + Mail from yahoo rejected

halliday

Basic Pleskian
Hello,
I used to receive a huge number of SPAM messages.

The problem was solved by using "Switch on SPF spam protection" and selecting:
Reject mail when SPF does not resolve to pass

The trouble is that all legitimate mail from yahoo domains have been rejected this way.

Then I tried "Reject mail when SPF resolves to "fail".
Yahoo then works but I am getting a lot of SPAM.

My question is:-
Is there a way to override "Reject mail when SPF does not resolve to pass" ?

For example by using server-wide setting like whitelisting or some "SPF local rules", "SPF guess rules" etc.

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you.

David

Any chance of a response, please?

Would it be possible to specify "allow yahoo" somehow - in the SPF local rules or SPF guess rules?

If not, has anyone tried to whitelist a domain (e.g. yahoo) via the MX records?

Would greatly appreciate a response!
