  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE

jadui

New Pleskian
Hi,

My Plesk-server has a problem sending mail by PHP. The error in the error_log says:

Code:
[Fri Jun 12 11:45:24 2020] [warn] [client 92.108.127.74] mod_fcgid: stderr: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed in /var/www/vhosts/xyz.nl/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-smtp.php on line 368

At the 'SSL/TLS certificates' settings under 'tools&settings', I installed a Comodo certificate (see attached image). Sending secure mail works fine when I use a external mailclient like Thunderbird but sending mail (local) from WordPress websites (for example Easy SMTP plugin) are a problem.

It looks like the mailserver uses an other (default) certificate. But have no idea how to fix this.

Any suggestions for this?

Thanks
