  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

statistics.exe errors with smartermail

Everytime statistics.exe runs (during scheduled tasks), it bombs out on our smartermail smtp logs with the following error:

Description:
Run-Time error: Wrong log file format. Time expected
at (SmarterMail::SMLogFile::LogLine::parse line 51)
at Error processing log file 2005.04.19-smtpLog.log
(SmarterMail::SMProvider::getTrafficInfo line 262)
Execute file name: d:\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe

We have smartermail set to debugdetail for logging, and we are running version v.2.6.1921.27523.

Should probably mention that its not always on the same file, or same line, it does it every day to all files it processes.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

I too ran into the same problem, it appears that if the following error is in the smartermail log file, Plesk will bomb out.

04:18:24 [66.151.151.26][1556] Exception: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Send(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags socketFlags)
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Send(Byte[] buffer)
at TcpServerLib.SMTPSession.SendData(String dataStr)
at TcpServerLib.SMTPSession.StartProcessing()

If those errors are removed, then Plesk's Statistics.exe has no problem.

I haven't heard anything back from Plesk, or SmarterMail if there is a way to eliminate this error.

Appears to be a bug which will be fixed in relase 7.5.2.

Got upgraded to 7.5.2 and it takes care of that issue. Just following up.
