  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Steady increase of ram usage until server crash (by watchDog stats)

fabiodisconzi

New Pleskian
Hi to all, I am new to the forum and also to server management.
I own a dedicated server with PLESK installed.
Some weeks ago I activated the WatchDog extension.

The night of sunday 24th Jun something strange happened. Ram usage started to climb up to the server crash. This morning (25th of Jun) I was not able to login to the plesk, neither to the repair kit.
I resolved the issue by restarting the servir via SSH.

What could be the cause of the steady increase of ram usage?
Thanks,
Fabio

I would advise you to check all the cron tasks planned for the time coinciding with the beginning of this RAM increasing process.
