  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

stop plesk from restarting tomcat

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I have replaced Plesk's built-in Tomcat with a standalone version. I thought I had turned off Tomcat from Plesk's control panel. Yet, after a recent restart of the server, I noticed that Plesk keeps restarting its own Tomcat instance everytime I have turned it off. Has anything changed?

I believe I have switched off all Tomcat-related things in the Plesk panel:
- all domains have java apps turned 'off'
- in the 'server tools' > 'services management' tab, I stopped 'Tomcat Java', but it keeps restarting after a while

Can anyone help me out, please?

Ron
