• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

suPHP, SSL and Plesk

scottthepotter

Basic Pleskian
Had to install an SSL in a domain managed by Plesk 8.3. Had suPHP running and had major problems with the shopping cart not transferring cart items between the http and https. I would take the shopping cart out of https and put it into http and all would be fine. Tracked it down to session ID and cookie issues. Domain is configured to run SSL out of the same directory, have a certificate and a dedicated IP for this domain. Ended up having to disable suPHP for this domain and go back to having all PHP files owned by Apache. Anyone had any experience with this? I have seen some posts about a vhost_ssl.conf but can't find a whole lot of information about it. Server is FC6 64-bit running MySQL 5.0.27 and PHP 5.1.6.
