  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

System notification BUG since Plesk > v8.6

kanada

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

Plesk send warning notifications of expiration date even account is suspended.
E.g Account have set expiration date to 24.12.2010, today i suspend this account.
However Plesk still send warnings about this account till 24.12.2010.

Additionally if account is disabled and i want to renew it i need to renew manualy each domain allocated on this account.
My question is, why when i enable account domains are not activated automaticaly? Why you dont setup checkbox aka "set expiration date same as account" at domain expiration date?

Please fix it.

Regards,

Igor could you confirm that bug with Developers?

I'm using FC11, Plesk 9.5.2/3. Bug should be reproduced in each case.

Alex

Yes, we have submitted this bug to developers. Unfortunately I haven't any ETA when it will be fixed.

It is simply situation. Seems Plesk notification system basics only on account expiration date, and should check status (suspended/unsuspended) of this account too.

BTW. Could you tell me why Parallels has resigned from Fedora Linux supporting on Plesk 10.x distro?

--
Alex

Because according to our internal statistic it is the least used Linux distributive for Plesk installations.

Understood. One more thing.. how long tree 9.5.x will be developed/supported by SWsoft?

--
Alex

We are not SWsoft any more but Parallels :) Plesk 9.x will be developed/supported so long, how long it will be popular product on the market.
