  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

templates.. how Plesk allocates disk space

HI,

I'm currently setting up templates for hosting accounts in Plesk,

I was wondering how the server hard disk space is provisioned when creating a domain template...

e.g. ...

in the Disk space limit field, if I set 750 MB, is that the overiding maximum amount of disk space the domain can use? So if I was to set hard disk qouta to 700 MB and then total mailbox qouta to 50 MB that would be correct, but if hard disk qouta was 750, there would be no room for mail boxes?

Does that make sense? or have I been sat in front of my pc for far, far, far too long!

Thanks

Rich...:)

Actually, hard disk quota is a limit for current domain. This quota can't be exceed never. Bot the Disk space limit can be exceed and you will get the notification about it.
