  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Transferring from Plesk 10 (Linux)

New Pleskian
Hi there,
I've recently decided to move to a windows server as I know much more about windows than I do about Linux. This is fine, but is there an easy way of transferring everything (emails, DBs, users, passwords etc) from my Linux Plesk 10 to my new Windows Plesk 11?

I tried a configuration backup which did do most of it but it failed with some of the parameters.

Also, a full (config & content) backup fails on P10 - does anybody have any ideas on this?

Many thanks,
Bryn

It was discussed many times here.
According to migration guide this type of migration (from one platform to other) is impossible. You can use only one method - create the same domain on Windows Plesk server and migrate all content of domain manually.
