• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

CentOS 7.9,
Plesk 18.0.46 Update #1

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When an email address has multiple aliases the top alias listed on the Email Aliases tab misses the remove option. Which makes hard for users to remove the first alias in the list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

In Plesk create a email address and added multiple aliases to it. Notice how all aliases have a remove button, except the first alias.

ACTUAL RESULT

First alias is cannot be remove (well, only with workarounds listed bellow).

EXPECTED RESULT

Being able the remove the first alias just as the other aliases.

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As a workaround the first alias can be removed by removing any value from the input field. However I would say this not a very intuitive and user friendly methode.

Please reconsider this feature request. We're all trying to make Plesk the best and most user-friendly control panel, and something like this comes up.

What's the point in making it harder for the end user to remove the first alias? It's not intuitive to clear the field when you want to remove an alias, as you can remove the others with a simple click on the remove button/link. How can this be an intended behavior by design?
