• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Unable to post a thread with specific content - Error message unclear

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

talk.plesk.com forum

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Whenever I try to post a thread containing a specific string, the forum crops the content.
If I try to post something containing this string as a reply, it sends me an unclear general error message that doesn't help me to fix the problem.

It says: "Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console."

Funny thing is, I can't quote this string here because it won't get posted either.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Create a thread and a reply with the following string.

The problem is that some of the messages I could see in (slash)var(slash)log(slash)apache2(slash)error.log are just unreachable via any of these pages.

ACTUAL RESULT

The initial thread gets cropped. Replies won't be allowed

EXPECTED RESULT

Fully posted thread/reply.

Hi,

This is a known Cloudflare issue. The Plesk sysadmins are already working on it.

Yes, @maartenv is correct. The issue has already been reported to sysadmins. They are working on it.
