  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Understanding Scheduled task

fabrizioi

Basic Pleskian
Hi to all,

I would like to understand how scheduled task work in plesk/linux.

I have read the entire documentation about this, but I have not found response.

For example in plesk/windows when the plesk is installed the first time, by default some task are automatically created.

I have try to navigate in my linux plesk panel to server/scheduled task but i cannot aunderstand the logic of that.

Which are the default task created ? where I can see this task ? Where is the default location where plesk store backupdata created with automatic task if any ?

I have understand only how to make an entire buckup, or a domain backup.

Any help are appreciated.

Bye
