• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Unexplained nightly popuser logins – can't find the source in Plesk

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.69 Update #2,
Hello everyone,
I'm running a Plesk server on Linux and have noticed a strange pattern since a recent system upgrade: Every night, dozens of popuser sessions appear, even though there are no interactive logins (IMAP/POP3 clients) at those times. I recently upgraded the system from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Since then, these nightly popuser login sessions have been occurring. I'm trying to figure out whether this is caused by Plesk itself or by a specific module. Additionally, I've noticed that the browser-based log viewer in the Plesk panel ("Log Browser") freezes during or shortly after these periods. This suggests that something internal may be stalling – possibly related to the popuser sessions. Is this behavior known to occur after upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS?

I'm grateful for any advice on how to analyze this further or how to resolve it.

Thank you!
