• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Update 11.0.9 #56 concerns

EricVis

Basic Pleskian
My PP is at 11.0.9 Update #55

PP shows new update #56 like that:
- Base packages of Plesk
- (checkbox) PHP5 support
- (checkbox) Apache web server support

I would like to update since #56 is marked as security important but posts on this forum bother me a lot.
1. Can I uncheck safely PHP5 support to ignore any PHP updates?
2. Can I uncheck safely Apache support to ignore any apache updates?
3. Assuming both checkboxes are unchecked, only based updates will install, right? Which means this security important update will install and won't affect any PHP5/Apache configs?
4. Based updates are separate

thanks!

1,2 - yes, you can.

But do not enable autoupdate. In that case all components will be updated automatically without your approval.
