  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

How to update PHP with Plesk 8.2 for Windows?

How easy is it to update PHP 5.2.0 to 5.2.3? And should this be done 'manually' or through Plesk update? Sorry for the newbie questions but a PHP update on Linux Plesk wasn't so user friendly.

Hello Sergius,

is it possible to update the client's php engine to 5.2.4 using the last upgrade/patch (I think this is 8.2.0.1). Never the less, how is it possible to update such a core component to the latest distributed one?

thx

cs

Unfortunately Plesk 8.2.0.1 does not update PHP to 5.2.4.

Unfortunately only by hand if it is not updated by Plesk.
