  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

upgrade / migrate - how to save as much configuration as possible?

On my virtual server,
I am a happy Plesk 9.5.4 user, on ubuntu 8.04 - and I have no real reason to upgrade.

But I might have to.
Within my current ubuntu installation, I could go from 9.5.4 to 10.4.4.

1) Is it better to first upgrade from 9 to 10, and then to 11? Or better straight from 9 to 11?

2) What if I wait with the upgrade until ubuntu 14.04 is out next year? New plesk until then?

3) What is the best way to save as much domain & mail configuration as possible? Any hint welcome!

I have 7 domains and hundreds of email addresses, and I cannot really afford to redo all of the config.
If I have to - please tell me anything that could save me time!!!

Thanks a lot!
