Question Upgrading an existing Plesk installation

Hello,

When I try to update my packages, I have the following error message "The repository 'http://autoinstall.plesk.com/pool/PSA_18.0.47_10005 focal Release' no longer has a Release file". I guess that it's because of my actual Plesk version being obsolete.

But then how to properly upgrade an existing Plesk installation as it seems that using "/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller" is not recommanded. Or is the problem elsewhere?

Download the latest installer and use it to upgrade your server:

# wget https://autoinstall.plesk.com/plesk-installer
# chmod +x plesk-installer
# ./plesk-installer

Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify things, the server is not new and it's already being used with many websites and applications hosted on it. So will the upgrade have any consequences on that?

If there are no customizations in your Plesk server, there should be no issues when you upgrade Plesk.

However, there are a few reported issues with the 18.0.57 release, so I suggest using the 18.0.56 release for now. You can choose a release like this:

# ./plesk-installer --all-versions
