  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

VPN as Gateway

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

There have been a number of posts on this subject but not one has provided a definitive explanation other than it can be done using a masquerade firewall. I would like to use our Plesk server in the uk as a gateway to surf the Internet via vpn for our overseas office. If not too complex I would appreciate some simple guidance on how to set up plesk vpn and the xp vpn client so a xp user can browse the Internet via the Uk server.

Plesk 8.6 on unbuntu 8.04

many thanks
Paul
