• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Watchdog

Regular Pleskian
I was receiving duplicates email from wathdog in my server, so I uninstalled watchdog extensión and now I receive one email from watchdog. I think there is another watchdog running but I've examined crontabs and I can't find any cron process about watchdog.
Where could be this cron?
thanks

Hi JuanCar,

please provide MORE informations, so that people willing to help don't have to suggest things out of the blue.

First step is always to investigate logs and configuration files:

Depending on your operating system, the crontab - jobs are logged. For Ubuntu you could use "grep CRON /var/log/syslog" to point out the depending log - entries.

The command "ps -aux | grep watchdog" will show watchdog processes.

If you removed watchdog, please provide informations HOW you removed it - you might have used a wrong command.
