• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Basic Pleskian
PRODUCT VERSION
Plesk 10.0.4

OPERATING SYSTEM
Debian 6.0.4

ARCHITECTURE
x86_64

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
After shutting down the system to add a router to the network, we rebooted the system and the website no longer displays. We are only getting the default apache test page, and not our website which is store in /var/www/vhosts/suprtech.com.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
browsing to our domain name returns the default test page for apache (not the default plesk page)

EXPECTED RESULT
Browsing to our domain main should bring up our website

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Upon adding a router, instead of the server using the external IP directly, it now gets a local IP from with in the router, we have gone through and set necessary files /etc/resolv.conf, /etc/hosts, and /etc/network/interfaces to reflect the server pulling the local IP address of 192.168.1.7 netmask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1 from the router. The external IP address has remained the same, the only difference now is instead of the line being ran directly to the server, it passes through a network router first. Also in the router the necessary ports have been set to go to the local IP address of the server.

This is an issue that we have been working on for three days to resolve and we have went through several KB articles and various forum posts and have not been able to find a solution. We get our Plesk license on a month to month basis directly from Plesk, but when we try to use phone support or the support ticket system we either get nothing but a busy signal or we are told that support for our plesk license has expired.

We would really APPRECIATE some SUPPORT on getting this issue solved because we love the features that are in plesk panel and we do not want to have to look for an alternative.

Kind Regards,
