Question What are your experiences with Smart Updates?

I would like to know if anyone can share some experiences with the Smart Updates extension? Did you have good experiences? Does it really work as reliable as described? Or do you often have problems with it?

I am considering offering it to future customers. But because it's not really cheap, I wanted to find out what other users have experienced.
