  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

I am wondering what the function of \inetpub\servers\ is?

In my plesk server, there are a few more folders contained in that folder pth, namely 1001, 1002 etc.

Most of the domains created exist in 1001, as well as in \inetpub\vhost, and the same files exist in both locations.

Whats the deal here? Thanks.

Files within \inetpub\servers seems to be somehow related to FTP service and symlinks, but I can not figure it out exactly.

thanks anthony.

i wonder if the support ppl ever provide an answer for this?

one of the reasons i asked this question is because i was performing manual backups of data on my server for a while, and when i was reviewing the backup logs, i noticed that a whole bunch of files (access logs, error logs and .mdb) were being skipped because there were being in use.

But these files were in the /inetpub/servers.

I was under the assumption that the website paths were /inetpub/vhost, so it should stand to reason that files from /vhost/ should be skipped, not /servers/ ....ermm...right?

:D
