  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Where to place nginx.conf so its writable but secure?

elemental.tm

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

Being fairly new to Nginx I am trying to figure out where to place nginx.conf so it is in a secure location i.e. not in the website root folder but still writeable, so that in this instance iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security) is able to update the config settings.

I believe that the normal location would be: domain-name/conf however this is not writeable.

How would you do this and/or what is best practise?

Thanks in advance.
