• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved WHMCS and Plesk Onyx automation

layerwire

Basic Pleskian
Greetings,

we are facing last days pretty annoying issue with Plesk Onyx and WHMCS.
Everything was okay, before. Maybe something happened after new WHMCS version?

So, let's get started. In product settings for shared hosting plans, we have enabled "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received".
It was working totally fine since we started using Plesk Onyx and WHMCS.

What happens now? Every time then the client is trying to buy shared hosting product Plesk creates automatically account even if payment status is incomplete. No matter what status you have, it's going to create an account and later WHMCS is going to give module action issues because domain exists already.

What happens next?
- You have to accept order manually
- Client does not receive mail with product information
- You have to resend mail manually
- You get bunch of empty accounts

Questions. Where do we need to create a ticket for this issue? Plesk or WHMCS?
Thanks.

Hi NKV,

this sounds pretty much as a "WHMCS" issue, because a "buy" - option doesn't exist in Plesk - which will point you to the WHMCS - support. ;)
