  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Wildcard subdomains show default page

Basic Pleskian
Hi
In order for one of our customers to be able to easily create sites in subdomains we created a subdomain called *.domain.tld as per the description in plesk "Enter * to create a wildcard subdomain."
As we do not currently have the DNS pointed for the domain we are using a preview domain, so that it will be at *.domain.tld.192-168-111-222.serverhost.tld
When clicking the preview button inside plesk it goes to this url: _.domain.tld.192-168-111-222.serverhost.tld
This displays the correct php application.
But if I go to lets say mycustomsite.domain.tld.192-168-111-222.serverhost.tld it shows the plesk domain default page.
I have verified the the DNS of the preview domain points to the IP-address of the plesk webserver.

Why is this not working?
