  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Windows Server 2019 Zone transfer setting keeps changing on it's own.

pcsadmin

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Windows Server 2019
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.60 Update #1
Plesk Obsidian for Windows
Windows Server 2019
Plesk Master server, 2x Secondary server.

I have a Reverse DNS Zone transfer setting on the Primary Plesk DNS Server, that keeps getting changed somehow.
No other zones are affected. It doesn't matter what I initially set it to., as it will change to another option on it's own.
It happens randomly, every week, month etc.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?

You need to do the settings through Plesk itself since Plesk will go through and update the settings back to what Plesk knows for a good number of settings. Please read Restricting DNS Zones Transfer for how to configure it.
Yes I know, and those settings are correct. The settings being changed are within the Windows DNS service itself. This may very well be a server OS issue rather than Plesk, but I thought I would check here first.
