  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Wordpress installation 403 page

Kabo

New Pleskian
Hi everyone, im setting up a website on a vps. I log in at plesk with root user. The website foxwolt.nl first shows the default plesk page. I then add a subscription in plesk under foxwolt.nl. The domain is added and everything is still fine. Now when I install wordpress with wordpress toolkit. I get a 403 forbidden. I tried to change permission in plesk file manager (refused it says it cannot find .htaccess) and in SSH (directory not found).

Why does the wordpress toolkit cause this problem?

I also tried to install wordpress via ssh and then the samething happens. I need help guys been trying this for days. Thanks in advance!

Im using the latest plesk version on windows.

Hi Kabo,

I tried to change permission in plesk file manager
You changed it to ... ??? Consider to have a look at the Plesk - log - file, so that you are able to investigate the root cause of your issue.

and in SSH (directory not found)
On WINDOWS - systems, you would use "RDP".
Are you sure, that you are at the right forum here? ( Plesk 12.x for Windows )

Why didn't you choose the "Plesk repair utility" ?
