  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue wordpress toolkit - ACF plugin update info not complete

Koen Verbruggen

Basic Pleskian
Looking at the overview of wordpress instances, upgrades for Advance Custom Fields are not often not shown but when logged in to Wordpress one does see the correct update information.

ACF Pro makes use of a license key as it charges a fee for use.
Maybe this license check breaks the Wordpress toolkit update check?

The strange part is, SOME instances do notice about the update but some don't. All have license key installed.

Hello Koen,

I think the root cause is that Advance Custom Fields at wordpress.org has 4.x version and does not update often. But you have a paid version 5.x. Usually paid version is updating from non official plugins catalogs. We do not support non official plugins catalogs, but we are planing to start working with its.

Allright, thanks for the reply. I'm indeed using ACF PRO, which is something different as the free ACF plugin.
Sound like a plausible cause, however it is still strange that some website DO display the update in Plesk.
