  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue WordPress Toolkit cause 403 Forbidden for blogs.dir files after Restrict access to files and directo

Lucaele

New Pleskian
Hi all,
i have Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 on Debian 9 and i used WordPress Toolkit for my WordPress MU installation.
After launch "Restrict access to files and directories" from Security Status, all uploaded files are 403 Forbidden... and this action is not reversible.
Files are present on FTP like before and visible with a direct url but not from WordPress.

Forbidden from WP: http://<domain>/<subfolder site name>/files/2019/09/Screenshot-2019-09-03-at-08.33.09.png
View correctly: http://<domain>/wp-content/blogs.dir/<site number>/files/2019/09/Screenshot-2019-09-03-at-08.33.09.png

How can i fix this problem?
Thanks
Luca

It seems that the Rewrite rules in .htaccess are not working correctly. Is .htaccess accessible (e.g. with 0750 mode)? Does the document root directory have the correct owner and group? (ftp username : psaserver) and each subdirectory (ftp username : psacln)? Is PHP set to PHP-FPM (or PHP-CGI) via Apache (if set to Nginx, .htaccess won't work)?
