  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue WP Toolkit creates database without Plesk username prefix

gbotica

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

I've noticed lately that sites installed by the WP Toolkit create databases that have no Plesk username prefix.

i.e. the complete database name is something like "wordpress_v" (whereas it should be "pleskuser_wordpress_v")

I've checked my Database Hosting Settings and I have 'username' selected for 'Add prefix and underscore to the beginning of database names'.

This wasn't an issue in the past, so must have been introduced at some point.

This is a real pain, as I now have a bunch of databases with no prefix, and sometimes the install fails with "database with name x already exists".

Anyone else spotted this?
