  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved WP toolkit php 8.1 marked as obsolete

Tiria

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 20.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.65 #1
Why WP toolkit marks php version 8.1 as obsolete, this version is still maintained until november 2025.

On others menus (dashboard, advisor...), php 8.1 is not marked as obsolete so it's a WP toolkit issue I guess.

Hello, @Tiria! You're right that this is the WP Toolkit's issue. And this will be fixed in the nearest update that we going to publish this week.

Hey, @Tiria . WP Toolkit v6.6 was released and the behavior was corrected. You should no longer experience the issue with PHP 8.1 being marked as obsolete after the update. Please let us know if you encounter any further issues.
