• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

wrong bandwidth calculation

EvolutionCrazy

Basic Pleskian
I'm running plesk 7.5.2 over RHEL 3ES

i'm experiencing wrong bandwidth calculation in plesk...

HotSaTaNic and the provider bandwith meter say:
Total (In + Out) Bandwidth: 14.69 GB

but plesk say:
used 37 955.74 MB

limit 512 000.00 MB

available 474 044.26 MB

what's wrong?

how does plesk calculate the bandwidth usage??? does it look to the apache logs???

if so it's normal it show numbers a lot far from the realty....

for example if i've a file of 300mb and a user download it using a download accelerator (like getright or leechget) it will start 4 downloads threads... so in my apache log i'll see 4 GET....

doesn plesk cout that as get of an entire file instead of partial get?
