  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    I've a problem with plesk 8.6.0 (everything updated)... I've set a set a backup schedule in this way: Number of backup files stored in repository: 3 the problem is that it keeps creating new backup files without deleting old ones (so it's not respecting the "3 backups" limit)...

    plesk takes care of #hostname the only thing i've noticed it hasn't changed is the /etc/hosts... that i've modified manually... however i do not understard why it redirect me to the old hostname if i access to plesk without specifing the secure protocol... http instead of https...

    i've changed the hostname of my server through the plesk admin interface... restart the server... everything now around the server is setted with the new hostname... except when i access to the plesk interface without specifing https.... (i just tipe http://sub.domain.tld) it redirect...

    How do I forward MX request to external IP?

    if you use external mx servers you need also to remove that domain from the local qmail config ;) remove the domains you want to use external mx services from these files: /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains ;)
