On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
A short update regarding the previous issue with IONOS emails being rejected.
The problem is currently no longer occurring.
What I did:
I re-enabled SPF and DMARC under
Tools & Settings → Mail Server Settings
Then I disabled both options again immediately.
After that, I ran: plesk repair mail...
Hello everyone,
we are currently experiencing an issue with incoming emails from IONOS.
Emails sent from IONOS are being rejected with the following error:
321886B24FBB: dmarc: stderr: REJECT
2026-02-10 09:18:54 err dmarc [3121468] 7BE936B20CD1: Wrong the essential DMARC policy parameters...
@lukas-degan I had exactly the same issue with other mail accounts, too. That’s why I do believe it’s a bug, but I’m missing information on how it can occur.
As a workaround, the only thing I can suggest is renaming the mailbox, creating a new one with the old password, and transferring the...
Thanks for the explanation. One more question: does it have to be the official PHP version provided by Plesk, or could I also install PHP 7.2 from an alternative source and add it to Plesk, and then use it with the extension afterward?
Thanks for the clarification. However, I don’t quite understand the benefit of the extension – if Plesk still has to provide the PHP version itself, that means Plesk would still need to be an old version. Doesn’t that basically defeat the purpose of keeping older PHP versions up to date while...
Question:
Can I use TuxCare Extended Lifecycle Support for PHP to install older PHP versions (e.g., PHP 5.6 or 7.0) on a freshly installed server running the latest Plesk version — even if these PHP versions are no longer offered by the OS or by Plesk itself?
Background:
I understand that...
@Sebahat.hadzhi thank you.
I tried a workaround. I solved the problem by renaming the old mailbox, created a new one and imported mails with Plesk import tool.
I’m having a strange issue with mailbox storage reporting on my Plesk server.
In the Plesk interface, one of my mailboxes is constantly shown as full — for example, 29 GB / 20 GB used.
When I run the following command via the console:
plesk repair mail info@domain.de
the usage briefly shows...
What we often need the mail_auth_view function for is when a user has lost their password – and that happens quite frequently. Of course, we could generate a new one or point the customer to the “forgot password” function.
The problem, however, is that other mail clients often keep sending the...
We are using a primary DNS server that manages all domains as an authoritative DNS-only server. On that server, we cannot simply adjust the DNS template because it holds many different MX records for different domains. The primary DNS server distributes the DNS entries to other DNS servers...
I would like to update the MX record for all domains on my Plesk server so that they all point to the same new mail server. Ideally, I’d like to do this in one go via the Plesk CLI (e.g. using plesk bin dns) instead of editing each domain individually.
From what I’ve read so far, it doesn’t...

Thanks for your reply, but I think you might have misunderstood me. I am not talking about disabling auto-updates and doing everything manually – I am aware that this option still exists.
What I mean is the old functionality Plesk used to have: the ability to choose between...
The only solution I see for this actual problem with updates is to let users decide for themselves whether they want to install an update immediately upon release, or (as in the past) to have the option of installing only those updates that have been tested for a longer period and are considered...
It actually does affect a large number of users. Why should an update only be stopped if every single user is impacted? Even if it doesn’t break things for all, the fact that it disrupts many is reason enough to reconsider or pause it.
That said, it seems the issue has been resolved with the...
