• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    mail stopped working after clamd

I have boxes with Plesk 7.5.4 and 8.0 running Centos 4.2 and in all instances qmail-scanner-queue.pl is in the directory /usr/bin. It seems that you have installed project-gamera, however ART tells you to never install project-gamera on a Plesk box. You should only run #yum install...

    Qmail, Spamassassin, MAPS, and SURBL

I agree, I use ART's Gamera as my email gateway and it rocks. You can update the rules yourself, I use rules-du-jour. On that error, do a locate for bayes_tok. You may have to set the path differently in qmail-scanner-que.pl. Mine is found in /var/qmail/.spamassassin

    Qmail, Spamassassin, MAPS, and SURBL

That could be the issue, try deleting the new cf file (save a copy) and run the test again. Are you using Plesk's spamassassin or ART's?

    Qmail, Spamassassin, MAPS, and SURBL

All you have to do is to drop the uribl file into either the /etc/mail spamassassin directory or into /usr/share/spamassassin. Then do this to test it: # spamassassin -D --lint This will run a test for the configuration. If there are any problems it will tell you at the end.

    ram & plesk8

There is nothing wrong here, Plesk always uses a high percentage of RAM. Your average server load is low, that's the main thing.

    Server Keeps Crashing

I'm not sure what OS you have, but try this. Go to /etc/ssh/sshd_conf and look for the line #PermitRootLogin yes And change it to (don't gorget to uncomment): PermitRootLogin no This will prevent ANY root logins from SSH
