  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    @nulleffect: Yes we had to pay for that wrapper... The only thing I don't understand is why that isn't automatically included in plesk... But there are already some threads here dealing with suPHP and Plesk 8.1... So you can get it working, too :-) Just do a search :)

    Joshua, that's a little bit complicated. We had the engineers of SwSoft working for 2 days on our servers to get suPHP running. They created a special wrapper for Plesk to make suPHP actually work with our system. So that's not at all an easy thing, but now it is running perfectly smooth :)

    Well, the easiest thing to do: Change the SSH-Port :) Away from 22 to something much higher (40122 or so)... Then those attempts will decrease _enormously_ :)
