  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

10 -> 11 Migration Issues

New Pleskian
I have attempted to migrate my Plesk 10.4.4 server to a new 11.0.9 server 4 times. Each time the migration results in trashing the new server (mysql error and the control panel inaccessible). Reboots do not fix the problem I have resorted to a reimage each time.

I've done the migration by groups, customers, individual subscriptions and domains but every time the server is eventually trashed.

Looking for any guidance on how to monitor or debug the problem or validate before migration.

I will say that old 10 server has been a little funky since it was upgraded from 9 to 10. The new 11 server is not handling something....

Anyway, any input is appreciated.

Thanks

If you get mysql error, there should be something in logs.

If panel is not accessible, there should be something in logs. Please check:
# /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log
