  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi HarryBleckert,

Unfortunately, we were not able to reproduce this issue in our testing lab - can you provide more relevant information about the situation? Which version of Plesk you were upgrading from and what upgrade path you've followed? Thanks.

problems with contact forms

Hallo Custer,
after so many updates, the problem ist still the same:

Messages are being mailed, but none of the sites on our server generated with WPB shows a replay message or any activity after pressing the submit button!

Also I found 2 other problems:

1. the from - field in mail sent out defaults to www-data@hostname
where hostname is the hostname of the hosting server!

2. http error log showed these log lines:
PHP Warning: require(../../data/.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/modules/contact/send.php on line 7
PHP Warning: require_once(Zend/Mail/Transport/Exception.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/includes/Zend/Mail/Transport/Sendmail.php on line 136

server & plesk version details:

BS Linux 2.6.38.2-xxxx-std-ipv6-64 (Ubuntu)
Panel-Version 10.4.4 Update #26
Das System ist auf dem neuesten Stand, zuletzt überprüft am April 15, 2012 07:19 AM

Hallo custer,
the problem is unchanged and now waiting more than 2 weeks for your reply!

Could you at least post here ho to re-build Web Presence Bullder on Debian Linux Server?
Maybe a clean build would resolve that problem!

BTW: I host about 20 sites done with Web Presence Builder and they all have the same error.
I installed Plesk 10.3 in September 2012 as a clean install from OVH

Please reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Harry,

Can you please provide me with a couple of links to affected websites? We'll check them out ASAP.

Hi Jorge,

The solution I provided to Harry was specific to Linux. It will not work for Windows -- moreover, it's very likely that your problem is caused by something different. I suggest you to contact support to resolve your issue.

Zend mail problem

Thank you.

Hi,

What is that Linux specific solution ?
I'm having the same problem with Plesk 10.4.4 and Debian Squeeze.
Issue can be reproduced in our test site http://testidomain.eu

Hi, the root cause of this issue - it's problem with mail sending on your server. But in 10.4.4 you see such exceptions instead right error messages. This bug for error handling was fixed in 11.0.
As workaround you can place required php files from Zend FW library to see normal error messages and configure your MTA.

All other issues from this thread are fixed in latest version. Please consider to upgrade. 10.4.4 is too old....
