  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue 127.0.0.1 in resolve.conf - named issues

Mauzer

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CloudLinux 8.6
Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian 18.0.48
Greetings,

According to Plesk's Email Security Pro settings I should add "nameserver 127.0.0.1" to the /etc/resolve.conf file so that connections to rbl does not get blocked.

However, in doing this, I am getting other named issues, such as:

Code:
network unreachable resolving 'pleskwebservice.xovi.net/AAAA/IN': 2803:f800:50::6ca2:c09e#53

Any advice from someone who has had this issue before?

Regards,

This happens because there seems to be no IPv6 connectivity for your server for some reason.
So you can try to add the IPv4 address of this domain to the /etc/hosts file.
