• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Thanks for your reply....

I have checked all permission of IIS also changed all permission but not get any luck, Could you please help how to assign Plesk IIS WP user to specific web.config file, I think it should be fine for me, could please assist me regarding this.

no need to assign Plesk IIS WP user/IWAM_plesk user.
Try to recieve more detailed for error: go to iis->your website and:
1. Check handlers (report current status/attach screenshot)
2. Browse web site (the same)
3. Also: did you remove manually any smb_user from plesk db?

If you browse locally (via RDP) to the site, you should see the actual error message that IIS is generating. Alternatively use the site preview functionality and that should also show you the error.

The error page should help identify the issue.

I have seen a similar issue with Windows where the "cgi-bin" folder does not have the Application Pool user listed and so has no permissions to access the folder contents - it may be the same issue you are seeing.
