  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Access maillog without SSH?

futureweb

Regular Pleskian
Hey there,
is there a possibility I'm overlooking to check Plesk Maillog without SSH Access?
Would like to give our Plesk Admins access to the maillog, but as they are only familiar with Plesk and not Linux/SSH they would need a way to check it through GUI ...
thx
Andreas

Hi futureweb,

Have you seen the topic Input - New mail log GUI extension about the mail-log extension?
Hi AYamshanov,
yea - stumbled over this Extension - but I don't really want to pay 4$/Server/Month for such a basic functionality ... With a few dozen Plesk Servers it's cheaper to let Linux Guy check the Logs instead of Plesk Guy ... as it's seldom needed ... a few times a Year ... would be very convenient to have this functionality - but not needed that bad that one would be willing to pay for it ... ;-)

In general it would be a nice Feature to let Plesk Admin browse all System Logs ... the same way one can browse the Logs of the Subscriptions ...
