  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I have a domain alias that I point to our main site and I need an email for it also. When I go to setup an email for it, the domain alias is not listed as an option to create an email.

Any suggestions?

A domain alias is very restricted.
1) You cannot have an independent email from that of the main domain - for that you would need to create a new subscription for the domain alias and set up domain forwarding to the main domain - but gives you independent aliasdomain.com mail addresses.
2) You can however use an email set up at the main domain also as the aliases domain one. They will be merged into one. IE info@maindomain.com and info@aliasdomain.com will end up in the same mailbox.

Thats pretty much the two choices you have, depending on your requirements

Cheers,
Tom
