Adding email to a domain with an alias ?

Hi

I'm having a few issues with receiving email on my primary domain.

I have a domain setup on plesk (www.primary.co.uk) with a domains alias setup (www.secondary.co.uk).

I would like to receive mail@primary.co.uk but I keep getting bounce backs ...

can this be done with a domain alias?
