• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue after migration some email services don't work anymore

New Pleskian
hi,
i moved my old plesk server to a new one. all websites are working BUT there is a problem with some emails.
for a couple of websites, the mail and webmail just dont work anymore.
the webmail page even does not open...

what it should be?
thanks for helping, very noob here

in the DNS settings of one of the domains that dont work anymore i read:
Your website is offline because its domain name does not resolve to the server IP address.

what happened during the migration? i just changed ip on my register's dns page... and other websites are working fine!

Sounds like plesk did not update the dns zone for your websites.
Id suggest checking that the DNS is actually pointing to your server with every step. It has to reflect in Plesk, aswell as your dns registrar if youre hosting the dns off-site.

it does! every dns in plesk seem correct!

it seems like the browser webmail.domain.com or the mobile device or the mail client have a kind of cache
